Meet Benna Cail

OVERVIEW

Benna Cail is a teaching & eLearning expert who designs brain-sticky learning events including custom online courses, tutorials, animated video, and presentations. Her mission is to help busy leaders cultivate trust and excellence in the workplace.  She is DEI certified and specializes in mental wellness which are key ingredients integrated into all of her projects. In 2018, Benna founded her freelance consulting business, BC Strategist.

BACKGROUND

Benna's career started off as a elementary school teacher where she began her curriculum and training skills.  She worked with teachers and students in at-risk public to elite private schools, eventually leading to directing, designing and growing programs from the ground up.  Three of Benna's original programs were recognized and awarded for their innovation, inclusiveness, and educational content.  Then she was presented with the opportunity to take her skills from education to corporate and non-profit industries.

With Benna's teaching and learning expertise, she was recruited and joined the PGA TOUR and ultimately the First Tee.  First Tee is a youth development organization that introduces golf and 9 Core Values - courtesy, respect, perseverance, confidence, honesty, judgment, integrity, sportsmanship, responsibility - to kids from all walks of life. She then created the 9 Health Habits to further enhance the impact First Tee could have on kids.  She spearheaded the creation, pilot, and management of the nationwide implementation of The First Tee National School Program.  Under her leadership and direction she advance the program from the beta test of 48 students to an overall impact of 15,000 teachers and 6,000,000 students.  Ultimately, the program received national recognition and was awarded by the golf industry for it's high quality standards-based content and positive impact on teachers, students and supporting community agencies.

In 2018, Benna jumped into the entrepreneurial pool and started BC Strategist, where she creates Brain-Sticky Learning Events for small businesses, educational companies and non-profit organizations.  She focuses on helping leaders organize  and simplify how they manage people and resources.  This includes cultivating environments that encourage people of all levels to own their learning, progress and performance.  And in doing so, leaders learn to talk less and teach more to optimize trust and excellence in the workplace and in the classroom.
